heyye everybody! it has been a great patrol outing. but somehow the atmosphere at the end was qt sad. maybe cos serene our camera woman and jialing are leaving for good :(

1) exchanging of xmas gifts ! everyone will have a secret santa and everyone is a snowman (snowman is e receiver of the gift ) . u must buy a gift of MIN. 5 dollars for yr snowman and on tt day yr secret santa will be revealed! The names of snowman n santa was handpicked by yours truly and liudi the mistle toe. so even i and liudi dno our own santa but i know her santa and she knows mine though.

hello everybody! the year is finally coming to an end, which calls for the first year anniversary of the birth of sunflower. haha. anyone remembers the exact birthdate of sunflower? it is 240205! :) as recorded in my diary. oh yeah, but it is pretty agonising to share a same birthday as bougainvillea patrol right. haha just kidding lah! later we kena rotten eggs by bougain people wahaha. actually from what i have seen, we two new patrols have been the most inexperienced, but well we possess the strongest patrol spirit of all. dont you think so? it is so unlike my previous patrol.

as of a reply to liudi: stop hohohoho-ing! i bet you must have eaten way too many taco balls hahaha. oh you know i tried hong kong's taco balls but they SUCK yucks. guess singapore's ones are still the best. & this shall prove that you wont be able to survive in hong kong, you know. andddd! our outing has to be on a weekday. cos most of us arent free on weekends. yeah. so options are left with 23rd or 27th. we have got to hurry in our organising before we miss the boat again!

oh by the way, we wont be able to celebrate sunflower first birthday together. 240206 is on a friday. cca is going on. but we still must meet up somewhere then for our one year celebration of sunny outings okay! :)

Camp is tomorrow YAY. Haha I know this is not the normal reaction people will have. But somehow I feel glad that camp is approaching, dont give me that HUH look HAHA. I dont know if I should say this, but nonetheless, it took me much courage to let all of you know about this news.

I have officially came, and now physically gone.
Morally, I am still here. ((:
Spiritually, I am here too. (TO HAUNT YOU!) xD

Alright erm, I got into IP, and Year 2005 marks the last year I am going to spend in IJ Saint Nicks; the last year I am going to spend in SN Guides; the last year I am going to have patrol meeting at the specs stand with all of you. : (

Looking back, I still recalled the time where I was told to have a change of patrol, Sunflower. My first reaction was, "What the hell, Sunflower this sissy name." Hahah, and I couldnt understand why Mindy and Jia Yin were crying badly at that time, how sad all of you were. I didnt feel anything, happy nor sad, cos in the first place my then patrol Kingfisher wasnt at the least bonded. I really was expecting another monotone patrol I am going to have, but now I realised I had always been wrong. Very wrong, very very wrong.

Sunflower may have been the best patrol I could ever find, really. All the laughters, joy, love and all, I will let them stay as memories in me, and I will remember how all of you have motivated me in guides, how all of you have given me the courage to survive till now, how all of you have given me the strength for everything.

Hereby would like to dedicate a song to everyone, Accidentally In Love by Counting Crows. Old song yes, it marks all the old memories. I am accidentally in love with all of you. <3

Even though I am leaving, I hope I will still be regarded as a sunflowerer, and I will still be a part of Serene Quek Yin Liu, the ever so mighty tangerine. I have decided to write some farewell notes to everyone of you, but before that just would like to say a few words first. Farewell letters will have to come in slightly later.

JIA : CHIO BU! (: I understand your Os are ending in about 16 days, we can all rejoice and have an outing then okay? : ) You will make it to your dream jc, regardless nj or vj, all the best and you sure can do it! I have faith in you. :] Thanks for being such a wonderful and understanding PL in 2005, the first ever PL for this patrol.

LIU : HOHO the photogenic you! Sure you had a fun time being pushed into the pool. xD I bet you totally enjoyed it yes? Thank all of us for the wonderful planning done! Hahaha anyway PL 06, I am sure you will bring Sunflower to greater heights, to greater organisations (of playing pranks xD ). Oh, dont eat too much taco balls! :D THEY ARE BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH.

YIN : Oh my oh my the super crappy one. The super lame one, the super dont-make-sense one, the super brilliant one (yeah, intelligent in playing pranks). But still you are the one who gave Sunflower laughters, be sure to continue your dumbness in acting stupid. :D And YES I will not forget how you made me and Danette a scandalous pair! xD

MINDY : In the beginning of the year when I told you I was applying for IP, you were telling me all the WHAT IFS. What if I am really going to leave, What if I am going to abandon you, What if I am going to leave you all alone. Hahah, being able to be in the same patrol as you is my greatest blessing, and I will never forget your horrendous laughter AH-HAHAHAH, AH-HAHAHA. (: HOHO. Rock climbling has been fun with you too. See you. :]

DANETTE : SCANDALOUS PARTNER! (: No I did not molest you or anything, hahah, it was Yin Liu's fault! xD Oh wells, you are the sec one from sunflower that is closest to us four, Serene Quek Yin Liu, maybe bcos you turned up for all patrol outings, while the rest always had something on in the last minute. Being with you has been fun, and DONT CRY WHEN YOU LAUGH! (: bye pretty. :D

JOLENE : GWEEEEEEE pok! xD The shy one, who always waves to me timidly. Hahah, you have a nice surname! :D Anddd dont think I dont know, you are not as guai1 or quiet as I think, I know you are one naughty one. xD

Sunflower Second Patrol Outing

As of October 24:

SUNFLOWER PATROL OUTING TODAY! :D :D :D

Okay, leaving Seow Shan, Jolene and Steph out. Something important cropped up in the last minute I suppose. Oh and Jia has to stay home to mug for her Os. Aww that's so saddening right x)

The whole lot of weird events started out by Liew Jia Yin, her dumb idea of standing in a straight row at the mrt station, back facing a security camera. Yes all of our actions were caught on tape! And Yin used her phones reflective surface to see if Mindy or Danette has arrived. Well we were to turn around abruptly and go "YO." in this cool and hip way when they had reached. -.- LOL.

Walked round Lot One for a while, went to the fourth storey food court and this aunty was asking me WHAT SCHOOL LOGO IT WAS on our tee! : / Oh man it is a patrol tee please. Sunflower Secondary School -.- Right..

Yin found this piggy wooden stick at mini toons, which I had taken it up and hit Liu's head x) She was attempting to take revenge on me, but my scream saved the day HEH HEH xD

Escalated to the basement, walked round the food court tons of times before deciding on what to eat. Liu was greedy! Haha she wanted my kimchi, my seaweed, my soup, my onion. :D And since she was so greedy, we decided to bully her by forcing her to pose for pictures of evidences that she was stealing food. And we actually exaggerated it oh HAHA :D

After lunch we actually met Pierre Png! x) He was there to act as Da4 Yang2, Tong Xin Yuan. Apparently we are not a fan of his, but I didnt know why we were so crazy over him at that point of time. : / HAHA. He was walking past me when I took my cam out and shit I flashed at him! xD The distance between him and I was so close, he turned around and stared at me. Hmm so I asked for a group photo. He must be feeling damn honoured la, all the sunflowers surrounding him! :D

We thought it was embarrassing, so we immediately left the scene and headed for Mindy's house. Oh man and on the train everyone was laughing at my actions in the mall so malu! : | We laughed till we were almost dead, and I could feel my stomach muscles decomposing or something, and I commented that my stomach was about to spoil. WALAO and they kept on laughing and laughing >< Danette actually laughed till she cried HAHAHA :D

At Bkt Gombak mrt station, it was (yet again) Yin's idea to take lame pictures, and she even video-ed us walking. Uh LOL if you wanna view it get it from me, I dont know how to video-blog, sorry. : (

As we had long planned to push Liu into the pool, we tricked her to change into shorts, saying that we would be doing some vigorous activities, and skirts would not be allowed. I never knew she would be that gundu, to trust and believe us so easily. : ) And so, I got my cam all ready to video her (Yin's idea) while she change into her shorts. But Liu just had to pull the shorts up beneath her skirt, nothing will be exposed. :D Yin was jealous and depressed, out of anger she ran forward and attempted to pull Liu's shorts down :O FORTUNATELY Liu managed to kick Yin somehow, landing her on the ground. And her first reaction was to dump her skirt on Yin's head HAHAHA OMG !

Went to the pool to fool around, hmm in our patrol tee. We were supposed to be in bikinis but we didnt bring you see. :X Got scolded by the security guard a total of FOUR times, okay he was really fuming mad. :D But I think he looks cute when he is angry HAHAHA. -.-

Umm and for the scandalous pair that Danette and I had become, it was Liu Di and Jia Yin who set us up okay! Liu put my hand on Nette's.. arm. x|

THEN FOR THE MOST EXCITING PART. :D Where we have spent a month to plan this! HAHA. We tried to get Liu near to the pool, but she was suspicious you see. Thus Yin came up with her brilliant idea. Mindy was to "accidentally" drop her water bottle into the pool, and we shall be "panicking"!

We successfully did that. And Liu our dear patrol leader, out of her utmost concern, wanted to reach for the water bottle back for Mindy. AND. WHEEEE!

WE KICKED HER INTO THE POOL HAHAHA : )

Oh shit sorry everyone, I wasn't fast enough to capture the most exciting part on camera. Ugh I was laughing away! And there she was, in the pool. :D :D :D She took quite a while to recover from her shock, uh yeah. x) And when she got up of the pool the security guard was again coming down to scold us :O!

Liu bathed, we gave her three rubber duckies to play with too, arent we just way too nice?! :D

Watched A Walk To Remember, so saddening! : ( At the last part where the two were getting married, Yin wanted to take picture of them kissing but they didnt! Haha all of us were quite disappointed, aww. I didnt quite enjoy Only Hope at first, but now I appreciate the soundtrack : )

After the movie, we were sleepy and all, except that hyperactive Yin la. Danette and I was sleeping on the sofa and she just stole my cam and FLASHED at me, XIA SI REN can. :O

Examined Mindy's photos when she was young, oh I found Kelly Wong in one of her pictures! Haha I never knew they were kindergartenmates.

It started pouring heavily, so we couldn't leave Mindy's house. Did the silliest thing on earth, oh and did I mention we locked Yin out at the balcony. HAHA and she was to perform something stupid like, shaking of butt, before we unlatch the lock. x) So amusing please. Yin sang a super-out-of-tune-twinkle-twinkle-little-star. I HAD IT CAPTURED ON VIDEO! :D Get the video from me yes! x)

There was this dinosaur at the door of Mindy's house. I picked it up out of curiosity and I accidentally squeezed it somehow, and it gave out a loud shrieking SQUEAK! OMG Yin and I jumped! Damn scary la!

Strolled back to Bkt Gombak mrt and Yin forced me to take pictures of "Great Wall of China" and "Gui Lin View". Oh, whatever : ) Trainride home was funny, why must that Liew Jia Yin remind me of the embarrassing Pierre Png incident?! HUR. And she thought I pronounced his name as Pierre PONG so she started laughing to herself, oh yeah. -.-

There's patrol meeting tomorrow and, we're gonna discuss about patrol outing again ? And I doubt we'll be making any progress tomorrow. Hopefully we get it settled on when we're going to meet up during sept hol, I do not want to see the patrol outing flopped ! :)

Ugh. Sec two life is so so hectic. ): And complicating. Especially with such form teacher who comes in and nag nag nag for ten over hours and doesnt feel tired at all. Molly Leong, whom people call her MY MOTHER. -.- Just because we have the same surname, and that my hair's as curly as hers. ): She permed it! Mine's natural curl alrightees :D

Oh man, I just had History Timed Piece today and I think I'm going to fail it again. I cant seem to have a small pinch of interest in History. ): And it's going to pull my overall grades down a lot a lot. It's probably going to turn out as F9 like who knows. I didnt even have the time to learn it properly cos I used the time to study for WAGGGS and all the other tests. When on monday morning this sms came and said there isnt any tests this week?! I felt like throwing my phone out of the window okay, and hit ms gwee who's sleep walking downstairs. My phone should be able to flatten her brain considering the fact that I live on the 15th floor.

Sept hols. One day play, eight days of mugging. Oh my, I think I'm going to turn into the mugger mode. Okay, so books rocks? Yeah, especially history.

Heyy, I've not come for very long le horr? Really glad to see our blog being to active and alive, haha.. I just saw a very sad TV programme so my mood is not very good now. It was so sad lor, the little girl's mother and father all died so she's left alone in this world, isn't it like so sad? Then ppl would take advantage of her and bully her. But then tht's really out of point la.. So now that Jia Ling and Fang Ting are all going away, our patrol is left with 8 ppl, then if Serene goes off we'll have 7, how come I feel like we r rapidly decreasing in numbers?

We have 5 sec twos back then, now it seems like there's so little of us. Well, never mind Jia Ling and Fang Ting I'm sure we'll remain close friends right? Actually I think our patrol is really quite bonded, really fun with all our lame jokes, if anyone of us is gone, we'll feel really incomplete right? Our patrol was formed not more than half yr ago, at first I wasn't sure how it would turn out with so many sec twos, there's surely gonna be lots of different opinions, but we managed it well and we did our best. So to those of us who are going to leave, I want u to know that u have contributed a large part to the patrol, without u our patrol may not be the same anymore, I hope these fond memories will stay forever in ur heart, the part of guides where u like most, the place in guides where u r the happiest.

Fang Ting: I know u have bitter sweet feelings now, I totally understand, however I hope u'll not forget us when u r in Jasmine patrol, we've been patrol mates for almost two yrs, it was nice working with u and ur wacky ideas. When u r working hard for Jasmine, dun forget to look back upon ur old patrol Sunflower, look over ur shoulder and we'll be there ok? Last of all I hope u'll spread the Jasmine sprit and uphold the sunny and cheeriness of Sunflower, u'll forever be a Sunflowerer and Jasminian. We r proud of you!

Jia Ling: All the best for ur O's, better work hard and achieve all that is infront of u, with u as an example, I'm sure we'll follow in ur footsteps and strive towards our PGA. Even when u leave, we'll forever remember u as a fellow pioneer sunflower, the first sunflowerer senior ever. U brought much laughter and happiness, u've done much to bond us as a patrol. Want u to know, we'll always be there to support u in wadever u do, whether its PGA or O levels. U are a great PL, it's a great pity u have to leave. All the luck for ur future and stuff, and dun forget to come and blog hor!

Sec ones: Everybody is asking u all to speak more, so I'm not going to say the same thing, most important of all I hope u are going to enjoy ur 4 yrs in guides and I think the only way u can enjoy it and pass out without any regrets is to be more enthu. This is ur golden yr, where most ppl are most enthu so u better take ur chance and show us wad u've got, b'cos when ur chance is gone u may regret it. U know we r not tigers, we'll not eat u up or anything so dun have to worry when u give suggestions. Everyone has to go through this period it just depends on when u r going to walk out of this period. Dun let some ppl stop u from showing ur stuff, just do ur best and u'll not have any regrets.

Sorry to bore u if u have found this extremely uninteresting, lastly I'd like to declare that I am not as sadistic as Jia Yin said nor as greedy as Serene said. I'm just a nice, and lovely sunflowerer. Muahahahah!

To Jiayin, thanx for the summary about me, though it was quite mean(really), but it was quite interesting to see my part in Sunflower pat. the days in Sunflower are so fun-filled, i'm gonna miss u guys loads. To Jialing, you too. You RAWK!as our first PL in Sunflower history! I'm gonna miss you so much!!! As sunflowerers, we juz rawk!!! I just noticed, we are a very special patrol. Made with special people too. And special systems. And special rituals( i won't say traditions ) And special...I'm so happy to be with you guys, even though it was less than 1/2 month. Through such a short period, we have become soooo bonded. I'm really, really, really sad to leave such a wonderful patrol and us, sad to see a wonderful PL and wonderful member( that's me) leaving. hahas. Now i'm going to spice up this whole post with my EGO( hear that, Jiayin?) so it will serve as a remembrance for all of you guys cos it will be the last time you all will hear it, unless i decide to send my ghost back to haunt your patrol meetings!!! haha. LAME.

hee. dont really have time now to talk about the whole entire POP, so umm. just a few things to highlight, that was really really fun. :D

first. four of us sunflowerers sec twos volunteered for ushers. hmm hmm seems like we like volunteering o.O haha. mindy was so worked up! when tong asked FIVE SEC TWOS VOLUNTEER NOW. mindy was like, SERENE SERENE SERENE RAISE YOUR HAND! -.- fortunately it wasnt toilet washing, HAHAHA x))

oooh. the ceremony was quite sweet and short, not like st johns. but the first few PLs' candles were blown out! O.O and and when the PSs stepped forward to get the candles they took a HUUGGGEE step and, haha it was damn funny from the audience's view. x)))

dinner was fun fun fun with jiayin and mindy. okay, or rather mindy's laughter. omg, she spilled her rose syrup on her eclaire. and i dont know why she started laughing - AH! hahaha AH! hahaha AH! hahaha. jiayin and i were like staring at her weird laughter and then i joined in the sunflowerer laughter! x) so cool man.

oh yes. GREEDY LIUDI. haha. she took lotsa lotsa lotsa desserts! she filled her bowl to the brim, wa lao! hahaha x) maybe she thinks her belt is too loose. :P

that's about all. eh hey, we must make full use of the two company's bballs! lets meet up someday after jia's Os and have a match. x)) HEH HEH. i'm waiting for that day to come! >.<

i finally dug out some time to blog here. ain't i a smart earthworm ? :D

anyway, fang ting and i have bought the new patrol emblems this afternoon before thrid lang. WE WENT IN THE HEAVY RAIN ! ugh. fang ting lah. she dragged me to the guide house in the rain with her for she didn't want to be alone. ^o) hmm. the point is, i didnt bring an umbrella. she said she'd share it with me. but apparently she took 3/4 of her umbrella and 3/4 of my body was out in the rain.

went to guide house and the total amount was $8.40 and she doesnt have enough money. in the end i had to fork out $6 and there goes my wallet. i was only left with $1 something okay ! hmmphs.

This is the first time I came here. I love the colours on the blog! It's sooo bright and happy and sunflowery...Thanx alot jiayin! My blog got html problems...very irritating! I still learning about the mechanics of the computer, y'know.I wonder when we are getting patrol stuff, I'm fantasising on having patrol T-shirt, logbook, kit ( all sorts of stuff ) and I'm so happy we have patrol blog!!! Soon there is patrol outing to already...I'm really looking forward to it! Patrol meetings yeah, I notice Sec Ones dun talk much. Talk more yeah, Sec Ones! I'm excited about enrolment. I want patrol outing then!!!Can we go take neoprints on our next patrol outing? Oops, J8 pretty far away from Pasir Ris! Awww...it would be nice to have pictures of us together, though...K. Gotta go. Heyy, I think this blog is very nice leh! All thanks to Jy, I know she spent A LOT of hard work on it. Anw, I'm looking forward to our first patrol outing,everyone must come ok? Where do you all want to go? Escape? But too bad we r adults now, I hope we can say that we are still 12.Haha. Oh and I hope our patrol Tee comes faster, so we can go out wearing the same shirt and show others we r from Sunflower Patrol! When are the sec ones buying their guides uniform huh? We can go buy our patrol emblems together ok? And we must hurry start a patrol logbook.

okay okay.i shall stop being so ego.but i did spent ONE WHOLE DAY doing this!!!i haven done ANY work yet and its end lf saturday already!!!and my eyes never rest for more than eight hours!!:X this is damn unhealthy for my eyes.hahas.okayokay.shall stop complaining.i think the "our say; friends say" thing v.cool cos the colour will change AFTER u hover over it.and the sunflower also very cool cos i took a LOONG time finding it.and the "one cool flower"also very cool cosi spent a lONG time making it.and the all rights reserve thing also very cool cos i spent a LONG time typing out the numbers.and the "we rocks"at the bottom also very cool cos i spent a long time making n changing n experimenting with it.overall,this blog is cool cos we are one cool flower with a cool blog and cos i spent a loong time making it
